About me

Hi, I'm Sonja Geracsek, I am a Motion Graphics Designer and I have a particular passion for TV title sequences and brand idents.

In my 4 years of experience in the industry, I have been involved in a variety of projects, including motion graphics, filming and video editing, voice recording and editing, print and interactive designs.

I am the co-founder and the secretary of the London ACM SIGGRAPH Chapter. We hold events for the computer graphics and games industry. I am responsible for the PR of our events and the administration of the chapter. To find out more about London ACM SIGGRAPH and our events, follow this link.

I studied Computer Arts at the University of Abertay Dundee and graduated with a first class BA (Hons) Computer Arts. During my time at uni, I was fortunate enough to work with Disney Interactive Studios, who gave me a great insight into brand identity and interactive design.

As for my background, I am from Slovakia. I was born in Bratislava and lived in Stuttgart, Germany, from the age of four. I spent most of my childhood there before the travel bug bit me and I started roaming the world. I am currently based in London, UK.
